Sometimes a document contains all the right information but needs to be edited for clarity, put into a more readable format, or made more accessible. This section contains excerpts from documents I have reworked for improved clarity, readability, and accessibility.
Promotional Guide
These excerpts are drawn from The Media School’s “Tech Book,” a short promotional guide showcasing the media technology used in their facility. I have edited the entire document, incorporating a table of contents, a heading structure, addressing accessibility issues, and implementing Indiana University’s official style guidelines throughout. I also wrote a section about a video podcasting studio I designed and installed in 2023:



Student Handbook
At 109 pages (originally 120), the Student Film Production Handbook for The Media School’s Cinema and Media Studies program is an example of a long form document that I edit and maintain. Yearly maintenance of this document includes checking and refreshing every link and all contact information as well as working with staff and faculty to ensure all information is up to date.
